The following is the procedure for reserving our 5 Chromebook Carts at 1991, HARVARD, YALE, SPELMAN, BENNETT, and ROGERS. If you do not have a reservation, you will not be allowed to pick up a cart.
1) In your Google Calendar, you can book the carts as if you are reserving a room.
2) You can also add the carts' calendars in your Google Calendar to see their Free/Busy information.
3) The Chromebook Carts are located in the Bunker. During pick up and return of the carts, please fill out our Cart Sign Out sheet located at the Front Desk.
- From 9 am-5 pm, pick up and return of the carts will be at the 2nd Front Desk. The Front Desk Admin will be present to unlock and relock the carts.
- From 7 am - 9 am, please come to the IT Suite and an IT member will checkout and unlock the cart for you.
- After 5 pm, please return the cart to the Bunker and notify us of the return by emailing [email protected], calling x5555 or stopping by the IT Suite.
4) Should you need to reserve a small number of Chromebooks, please submit a support ticket ahead of time and we will set them aside for you from our reserve cart.
NOTE: As a courtesy to others, please be mindful of the condition in which you return the carts. At the bottom of each Chromebook, there is a numbered label and laptops should be placed in their corresponding numbered slots in the cart with the power adapters plugged in.
IMPORTANT: Should you experience any issues with any of the Chromebooks, e.g. broken screen, missing keys, lost Chromebook, please notify IT immediately by submitting a support ticket to us by emailing [email protected]. In the ticket, please provide the cart name and number with a description of the issue.
