1. Open the file

2. On the top bar, click on:
- View -> Tools -> Protection

3. On the right tool bar, under "Protection", click on:
- Encrypt -> Encrypt with Password ->
- when asked to confirm, click Yes

4. Check the box to "Require a password to open the document and enter a strong passsword. Then click OK.
- You will be asked to type the password again to confirm. Enter the same password and then press OK.
- You will then be reminded that the changes will not save until you save the file. Press OK.

5. To complete the process, save the file:
