The Guest profile is for any substitute or guest instructor. Please direct them to use this profile when applicable.

Whiteboard

The whiteboard app contains everything you may need for your lessons.

You can write on the board using your finger or with the pen(s) located in the tray. The board supports multi-touch so you are able to have multiple users writing at the same time.

If you have Palm Reject off, you can use your palm as an eraser instead. The included erasers are magnetic and should be located on the back of the Promethean.

You are able to change the background of the whiteboard to note lines, graph paper, music sheet, etc. as well as insert images or tools such as a protractor or ruler via the Math Tools option.

Images downloaded from the web browser can also be inserted into the whiteboard. They can be removed by tapping on it, and then again on the red trash icon.

You can use Multi-User mode to split the board into two and have 2 students or teachers write on either side.

Once you're done with the whiteboard, you can save your progress locally and/or to your Google Drive (if you have it connected) where you can return to it if needed.

Screen Sharing

You can use the Promethean to mirror your device's screen. Open up the Screen Share app and once the code appears, you are able to connect to it on your device. After entering the passcode shown on screen, tap on the people icon to enter the waiting room, then tap on your device's name to start sharing.

Connecting to the promethean via display cable

On the left side of the Promethean, you will have several display inputs. If you already have an appropriate cable attached, connect your laptop and then choose the Source app and you should be able to see the connected device.
