How to enable Remote Desktop Support (Splashtop SOS) for Macs
print icon

In order for us to provide Remote Desktop Support, we require a 9 digit code from the Splashtop SOS application. This code is randomly generated each time you launch the application.

Note: Steps 2-5 only need to be performed once to grant initial permissions. For subsequent remote desktop sessions, you just need to run the Splashtop SOS app.

1. Open Splashtop SOS in your Applications folder. You will see this pop-up.

2. Click "Please grant permissions for your technician to connect"

3. Click "Allow" on the right

4. Click the checkbox next to Splashtop SOS to enable Screen Recording.

5. Click "Quit Now"

6. You should now see a similar to the one below. Provide us with the randomly generated 9 digit code to allow us to begin the support remote support session.
